Renew your ticket because you support the club, enjoy going etc. Do not do it on the strength of signings because if you do your mugs. We will get a few oldies past their best and a few lesser known youngsters in the hope they will come good. The fact we have hung on to Bilic tells me that there is going to be no real ambition or investment at the club. I fear they will be so tight we may well struggle to stay up.

"WH are not denying it so they can get on with other transfer business."

So, encouraging the media all around us and endless agents calling hawking a "Barkley option" or other twonks who see an available £140kpw wedge will help them get on with the real business quietly? Is that right?? haha. hahaha. hahahahaha.

Bellends.

You beat me to it, Percy.

We've only ever been linked with a player to push season ticket sales. I mean, everyone that's not bought an ST will do now because the internet has linked us with Ross Barkley. You'd have to be mad not to.

It's denied by a few ITK's now although it seems WH are not denying it so they can get on with other transfer business.

A load of drivel probably leaked from agents to spark a bidding war between clubs.

Even IF true, he wouldn't come here - and good riddance, because he's vastly over-priced.

Re: The internet is awash with numpties, who think signing Ross Barkley is a realistic scenario
It is a very convenient story. In theory we can pay double his current wages or whatever had been suggested, and possibly double our transfer record. Realistically it sets a price point out there for what it will take to land Barkley, and suggests we have big ambitions ahead of season ticket renewal deadline. It probably also makes spurs, Chelsea and other bigger clubs forums go ballistic with "we should be all over that" posts.
